Director of Development for UNC Global
Daniel Lebold serves as the director of development for UNC Global, supporting the College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of the Provost. Before, he spent five years as vice president of development for Triangle Family Services, Inc., in Raleigh, and ten years at the UNC School of Social Work. He was first the director of annual giving, then the assistant dean for administration, and director and clinical instructor for the UNC Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Program.

Chris holds three degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill – B.A. ’96, M.S.W. ’05, and M.P.H. ’06. For the past eight years, he has been working in Bangkok, Thailand, where he served as regional business development director for Family Health International (FHI 360).
Assistant Director of Development for UNC Global
Martha comes to UNC Global from UNC Kenan-Flagler where she worked as the Assistant Director of Alumni and Student Engagement. In her role as Assistant Director of Development, she will be managing the Chancellor’s Global Education Fund, supporting our new Global Leadership Council, and helping to build and engage our alumni networks around the globe.
Special Assistant for UNC Global
Prior to joining the staff at UNC Global, Denise provided administrative assistance and logistical support for nonprofit development and social research projects. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida and a certificate in paralegal studies from UNC-Chapel Hill. Denise maintains proficiency in Spanish and is fluent in Portuguese. Travel abroad experiences include Brazil, Venezuela, France, Holland, England and Sweden.
