This event features a free lunch and screening of a series of short films. The films include:

Masters of Rhythm with Addendum (Peru, U.S., 2016). This glimpse of the rarely seen Afro-Peruvian culture and music adds to the encyclopedia of African diaspora culture. Rich music and wonderful dancing help to transport the viewer to the Barrios of Peru.

SMŌKD (U.S., 2017). Twelve grand jurors deliberate whether to indict, or not indict, a police officer who killed a man during an arrest.

Night Shift (U.S., 2017). Ollie Jeffries is an on-again, off-again actor. His long-time gig as a bathroom attendant on this one night, forces Ollie to face a reality he’s not yet ready to embrace.

Please RSVP at least 24 hours in advance to reserve a free lunch.
