‘Namour’ (US, 2016): Film Screening and Discussion

From Ava Durvernay’s ARRAY Films, a stylized homage to Los Angeles, Namour explores the complexities of personal responsibility versus moral convictions. Featuring an international cast, the movie stars Karim Saleh, Waleed Zuaiter and newcomer Wedad Abdou. Chronicling the unraveling of Steven Bassem (Saleh), a valet driver for a trendy Los Angeles restaurant caught between his dead-end job and the demands of his Arab-American immigrant family.
