Mr. Ammons is a Founding Partner and Portfolio Manager at AlbaCore Capital Group. Mr. Ammons is a member of the Investment Committee, Management Committee, Governance Committee and Operating Committee at the firm.  AlbaCore Capital Group is one of Europe’s leading specialist credit investors focusing on public and private corporate credit markets.

Prior to founding AlbaCore Capital Group, Mr. Ammons was most recently a Senior Principal in the Principal Credit Investments team at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (“CPPIB”) and worked there between 2010 and 2016. Mr. Ammons also sat on the Global Real Estate Credit Investment Committee at CPPIB and served on the Board of Directors of Altamira Asset Management Holdings.

Prior to that, Mr. Ammons worked in the Restructuring and Leveraged Finance Groups at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London from 2006 to 2010. He worked on underwriting transactions for private equity sponsors in Europe. Mr. Ammons also worked on restructurings and distressed M&A during 2009-2010.

Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2006, Mr. Ammons worked in the Leveraged Finance Group at Wachovia from 2004 to 2006.

Mr. Ammons holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
