From 1995 to 2020, Mr. Pike worked at The Blackstone Group, most recently as Senior Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Tactical Opportunities. Prior to helping launch the Tactical Opportunities business in 2012, where he was on the Investment Committee and Review Committee, Mr. Pike was the Co-Head of the Real Estate Group, where he was on the Investment Committee and responsible for building and managing Blackstone’s business outside the United States, opening and overseeing the group’s offices in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Mumbai. During his tenure at Blackstone, Mr. Pike led the acquisition of over $20 billion of investments in the United States, Europe and Asia by Blackstone’s real estate and tactical opportunities funds.

Mr. Pike is Chairman of Grassy Creek, LLC, his private family office, and is the founder and owner of Eleven Experience, a global adventure lodge business specializing in experiential travel.

Mr. Pike received a BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors. He is a Board Member of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation where he is the co-Chairman of the Aquatics Subcommittee, he is the Chairman of the North Atlantic Salmon Fund, and the Chairman of the Grassy Creek Foundation. Mr. Pike is married to Blake Pike (Bachelor of Arts, 1993) and they reside in London with their four children. His eldest daughter is a sophomore at UNC and a member of the Honors Carolina program.
