Global Partnership and Programs
Iyman Ahmed manages programs including the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program and the James Peacock REACH Fellowship. She also serves as the Fulbright U.S. Student Program Advisor. Prior to Ahmed’s role with the Global Partnership and Programs team, she managed federal grants and global opening access programs targeting underrepresented students through the Center for Global Initiatives (CGI). Ahmed is originally from Sudan and grew up in Egypt and Canada where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from the University of Windsor. Most recently she worked at the Middle East Studies Center at Duke University.
