Mr. Neil Kataria has spent most of his life creating internet & software businesses that solve big, nascent problems for consumers as well as small and large businesses. Mr. Kataria also invests in those businesses through Cabana Ventures and together with a team of advisors, they guide entrepreneurs as they transform prototypes into thriving companies that challenge convention.  Mr. Kataria is the Founding Chairman at Cabana Ventures.   Mr. Kataria also was the Co-Founder & Chairman of newBrand (acquired by Sprinklr), a social analytics company, which  pioneered a new way for businesses to better engage with their customers through social media at the store-level, ushering in a new the way for restaurants, hotels, retailers, and governments like McDonalds, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, PF Chang’s, Five Guys, Gordon Biersch, Potbelly’s, Jose Andres’ Thinkfood Group, Stephen Starr Restaurants, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Hyatt hotels and do business in the new social economy.   Mr. Kataria also founded MassClarity, a decentralized data marketplace for Food, Grocery, Retail & CPG through its blockchain based protocol, and he founded Grocery Shopping Labs, a grocery price comparison platform similar to Kayak.com in travel and Cars.com in automotive. Mr. Kataria serves on panels at the Cornell University’s Center for Hospitality Research, the Michael Milken Global Institute, Ethereum Blockchain Partners, and others. Mr. Kataria is a graduate with a B.A. in International Relations from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and attended the London School of Economics.
