Paul Schipper had numerous leadership roles at ExxonMobil Research and Engineering until his retirement in 2012. He was manager of process engineering, which provided support and new technology to the worldwide downstream refining and chemical businesses. He also led the team that formed a global engineering support organization in Malaysia, led several large-scale organization redesigns, and was the ExxonMobil Foundation contact to UNC for 9 years. Currently, he holds positions of adjunct professor of chemical engineering at both Howard University and University of Delaware. He endowed an international internship in memory of his former wife, Lori Lewis Schipper. Paul is married to Denise Bruner. Bruner specializes in obesity medicine and is a master fellow of the Obesity Medial Association, having served as their president and board chair.
