Rolf Hoffman has a wealth of international management experience gained over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He previously served as senior vice president of Amgen Europe, went on to lead Amgen’s international commercial operations, and served as senior vice president of Amgen’s U.S. commercial operations. Prior to Amgen, he was chief executive of Lilly Deutschland GmbH global marketing and held positions as president, Latin America; general manager in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa; and numerous global and regional marketing assignments. Hoffman now serves as adjunct professor of strategy and entrepreneurship at UNC Kenan-Flagler, with a focus on the school’s international efforts, leading classes and participating in initiatives overseas. He also serves on public boards in Europe and the U.S.
