Scott Werry was a founding partner of Altas Investments. Prior to joining Altas, Werry worked at Providence Equity Partners in New York. At Providence, Werry was focused on opportunities in the business services and communications sectors. Werry was actively involved in the development of Grupo TorreSur, the largest independent wireless tower operator in Brazil, and SRA International, a leading provider of services to U.S. government organizations. Prior to Providence, Werry worked at McColl Partners, a middle-market investment banking firm founded by Hugh McColl, where he advised corporations and large family-owned businesses in merger, acquisition and financing transactions. Werry earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
