After graduating from Carolina in 1985 Teresa began her career as a real estate paralegal in New York and Chicago.  While living in Chicago she began tutoring at-risk children at Cabrini Green, a notorious housing project in Chicago, and discovered her true passion, teaching.  She earned a Masters in Education and began a career teaching middle school math in Chicago and Los Angeles.  She has also been involved in many leadership roles at her children’s schools, including serving on two school boards, a principals search committee, and as PA President.

Teresa has two children and currently resides in Manhattan Beach, CA with her husband Bob.
