Teri Prince is the founder and chief executive officer of the Terida companies. Prince has led Terida since start up to their award-winning position in the RegTech space. Terida specializes in innovative software-as-a-service party-counterparty, credentialing, compliance, supply chain, claims, damages, settlements, emergency and health management, and litigation mitigation and litigation support cloud solutions. These solutions scale for multi-jurisdictional operations and are covered by a NATO Basic Ordering Agreement, a procurement vehicle for NATO and all 29 NATO countries.

Prince has been in IT since its beginnings, holding academic appointments concurrent with her corporate and consulting responsibilities for her entire career, serving as professor, School of Business Management, Ryerson University (1972 to 2005); on leave to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1996 to 2000); and professor emeritus, Ryerson University (since 2005). She holds degrees in pure and applied mathematics from the University of Toronto.

Prince has been recognized for her work in public and private sector workflow analyses, systems design, financial, statistical and data analyses, organizational performance and ethics, e-health, e-government, e-justice and e-business. Prince’s recipe for RegTech success is collaboration, agile development, attention to detail, and a commitment to technical excellence, management of resources, and continuous learning. She is respectful of her team and her clients, and grateful for the opportunity to work with interesting people to solve real problems effectively, efficiently, and securely.

Prince is a dual citizen of Canada and the U.S., and a resident of Pinehurst, North Carolina. She is a proud UNC-Chapel Hill parent and served on the Carolina Parents Council from 2006 to 2018.
