Yahne Miorini is an attorney and graduate of the University of Sorbonne, Paris, France, with a DSN (equivalent of a J.D.) in 1993. She also earned her LL.M. in international and comparative law from George Washington University Law School, Washington, D.C., in 1995.  Miorini concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning (wills and trusts) and estate administration with a focus on international assets, special needs and elder law. She is the past president of the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is a member of the bar associations of Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and New York State. She is currently president of the Comité Tricolore in Washington, D.C. For her work with the committee, she received the National Order of Merit from the French president in 2017. Miorini is a native speaker of French and has traveled extensively.
