The Sixth Annual AAAD Global Africana Conference will feature speakers and music from the some of the most intense years of late 20th century political activity. There will be a closing concert that evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Kenan Music Building Rehearsal Hall. The performance will be “Jazz Reflections on 1965-75, with The Greg Glassman/Dave Schnitter Quintet.” The concert is free and open to the public.
