Africa’s Political History and Landscape; Implications Today
April 4, 2022 at 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Africa Today is an annual African Studies Center series created to allow scholars and practitioners to engage in conversations on emerging issues in Africa.
Dr. Nzongola-Ntalaja shares critical empirical and anecdotal data and findings on Africa’s political history and landscape and how it has shaped what we see today.
His talk sets the tone for the following dialogue on the current political uprisings and trends. The second talk in this series will focus on the recent uprising – drawing a map across the continent to show where these conflicts are located and discussing their potential national, regional, and international consequences.
The last and third talk in this series delves into cohesion amid fragmentation.
Registration is required.
