This panel discussion brings together leading experts from the fields of business and public health to discuss the challenges as well as the opportunities of an aging society. By 2030, one out of the three Thais will be 60 years old. The situation is similar in many places in the U.S., including North Carolina, but also in major global markets including Europe and China. There are serious implications for physical, mental and financial health that must be addressed. At the same time there are tremendous opportunities for innovations and entrepreneurs to serve this large market.
Panelists include:

  • Noel Greis, director of the Center for Digital Enterprise and Innovation, Frank Hawking’s Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
  • Edwin Fisher, Department of Health Behavior, Gillings School of Public Health, UNC-Chapel Hill
  • Chanuantong Tanasugarn, dean of the faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, UNC-Chapel Hill Alumnus
  • Daniel Holmes, founder and chief executive cfficer of Otium Living, advisor to The Audley Group on luxury retirement living in ASEAN and Hong Kong

This panel is taking place in Bangkok. Kenan Institute Asia welcomes you to view the event through its Facebook Livestream.
