This event is organized by student group Working Group on Refugees, Europe and Service Learning (WRESL).
Susanne Dieper, director of programs and grants at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS) at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C., will give the keynote lecture. Her talk will focus on the AICGS project called “Integration: Made in Germany.” This initiative is part of the Year of German-American Friendship and involves advocates and practitioners who work on behalf of immigrants in Germany. The AICGS website has more details about this project.
Round-table discussions over a buffet dinner will follow the talk. The event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP in advance.
