Please come celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Center for European Studies, and the 20th anniversary of the TransAtlantic Masters Program. A reception will follow a keynote lecture by Caroline Vicini, European Union Deputy Ambassador to the U.S.
Vicini is currently the deputy head of the EU delegation to the U.S. Prior to joining the delegation, Vicini served as chief of protocol, with the rank of ambassador, at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm, Sweden. She has also served as DCM of the Swedish missions in Washington, D.C., and Dublin, Ireland. Her past work also includes security policy and military affairs at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she handled policy areas including CBMs, defense material, the initial development of the EU’s Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP) and matters related to the intelligence agencies.
