Career Paths in Intelligence: Meet with CIA Directorate of Operations Staff

February 1 at 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

What does a career in the CIA really look like? Join UNC Global’s Diplomacy Initiative for a panel discussion with CIA Directorate of Operations (DO) staff to learn about career tracks within the intelligence community and national security. Panelists will share what a day in the life looks like with the DO, followed by a Q&A.

The DO is one of five broad disciplines within the CIA. The DO collects human-sourced information, including via clandestine and covert operations, with staff abroad and in the U.S. who contribute to uncovering vital intelligence to solve complex national security issues.

This event will take place in the FedEx Global Education Center room 1005 at 5:30 p.m. After the event, pizza will be served in the atrium.

Organized by the UNC Global Diplomacy Initiative and the Curriculum in Peace, War, and Defense.
