Carolina’s Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases Anniversary Celebration

The UNC-Chapel Hill Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases will celebrate its anniversary on April 5 with special presentations from the country directors and keynote addresses. The institute works to improve local and global health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and on four continents.

The keynote addresses will be delivered by Richard Chaisson, a professor of medicine, epidemiology and international health and director of the Center for Tuberculosis Research at Johns Hopkins University; and by Paul Farmer, chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard University and one of the co-founders of Partners in Health.
