The One Voice Movement is hosting a National Speaking tour in Spring 2019, bringing Israeli and Palestinian activists from our partner organizations, Darkenu and Zimam, to speak with American students and communities about the power of personal narratives in community organizing and conflict resolution efforts. The workshop led here on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s campus will provide an opportunity for our community activists from Israel and Palestine to share their experiences working as community organizers and will include a Q and A session with these special guests. A facilitated workshop will follow which introduces the personal narratives strategy – stories of self, of us and of now – as a method of community organization. This workshop will be led by One Voice fellows and partner student leaders trained in One Voice’s solution-oriented framework. RSVP here to reserve your space at this unique event.
