This day and a half workshop surveys emerging technologies and media content used to bring the world to North Carolina’s schools. The program is designed to help K-12 school librarians and technology facilitators better understand our interconnected world by learning with and through technology. The workshop also offers resources and hands-on strategies to increase and improve content, collection and integration of global themes in the library.
This conference will be held at the Carolina Center for Educational Excellence. The cost is $200 per person for in-state participants and $300 per person for out-of-state participants. Interested participants can register on the World View website. This event is organized by the World View program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
