Interested in funding your language learning? The Critical Languages Scholarship (CLS) Program is part of a U.S. government effort to dramatically expand the number of Americans studying and mastering critical foreign languages. It provides fully funded, group-based intensive language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences.

The session will be led by Caitlyn Carpio (CLS Program Officer and UNC-CH alumna) and Adi Džumhur (CLS Campus Advisor). Hear from other fellow Tar Heels who’ve completed CLS programs and a representative from the UNC Writing Center, who will discuss their resources to support CLS applicants. Read about the nine Carolina students who most recently received Critical Language Scholarships.
