Devin DeWeese

Devin DeWeese’s focus on religious studies have led him to make important interventions in Central Asian history. Come to learn how the Golden-Horde era Islamization legends have shaped the communal identities of Central Asian peoples.

This event is organized by the Islamicate Graduate Student Association at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
