Colors of Confinement

Eric Muller, director of the Center for Faculty Excellence, will discuss his new book “Colors of Confinement” on Thursday, September 6 from 4-6 p.m. in the Hyde Hall University Room. A reception will follow the lecture. The event will be hosted by the Institute for the Arts and Humanities.

“Colors of Confinement: Rare Kodachrome Photographs of Japanese American Incarceration in World War II” showcases sixty-five stunning images from this extremely rare collection of color photographs, presented along with three interpretive essays by leading scholars and a reflective, personal essay by a former Heart Mountain internee.
