Gabriel Trop, ‘Berlin: City in Flux’

Celebrate Oktoberfest with a discussion of Berlin! Gabriel Trop, associate professor of German, will look at the ways in which Berlin, given its current status as the center of political and economic power as well as cultural innovation, navigates the complexities of its past by framing itself as a city of the future.
