Global Immersion Elective Alumni and Friends Dinner in Tokyo
May 23, 2019 at 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Join the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School for a dinner with current MBA students attending the China and Japan Global Immersion Elective (GIE) program. GIEs provide students in the MBA and Executive MBA programs at Kenan-Flagler with an opportunity to engage in short-term experiential learning abroad for academic credit. These programs are offered annually, and each GIE combines relevant and timely international business issues with discussions of how to do business in targeted countries or regions. This year, the China and Japan GIE will travel to Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo and Osaka, while focusing on the theme of healthcare. The program consists of 21 current students and is led by Markus Saba, professor of the practice of marketing and executive director of the Center for the Business of Health.
Space is at a minimum, but if you are interested in attending, please email Valerie Slate (Valerie_slate@kenan-flagler.unc.edu) directly for further information.
If you RSVP to attend, a Global Programs staff member will be in touch prior to dinner with additional information.
