Susan Thornton, ‘Can We Live With China? US–Chinese Relations in Tumultuous Times’

This is a discussion featuring Susan Thornton, the former acting assistant secretary and principal deputy assistant secretary for East Asian and Pacific affairs in the U.S. Department of State from 2016 until 2018. She is now senior research scholar at Yale University’s Paul Tsai China Center and a fellow at the Brookings Institute.

The event will be introduced and moderated by Klaus Larres, a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This event is part of the Krasno Event Series. For more information, visit the Krasno website.
