Virtual: Teaching the Asian Diaspora in Latin America

Did you know that there are over 4 million Latin Americans of Asian descent? Shannon Hahn, Chair of Foreign Languages and Spanish Instructor at Durham Technical Community College, will demonstrate how Spanish teachers of all levels can bring Asia into the classroom. We will learn about Asian-Latin American connections through history, food, culture and more. Participants will receive a certificate for 1.5 PD hours for attending this free webinar!
