This seminar is set around the adaptation of Molière’s Imaginary Invalid, one of the best plays ever written about illness. The play pokes fun at the presumptions of doctors and patients who will try anything to cure their imagined ills, this time with modern circumstances. The experience is enhanced by presentations from professor Jade Bettin of dramatic art, Terrence Holt from social medicine, and philosophy professor C.D.C. Reeve.
