Ukraine << Rewind presents a curated selection of films by Ukrainian filmmakers about the war in Ukraine since 2014. Four short stories set along the roads of Eastern Ukraine during the war. Highlighting in particular the vulnerability of women during wartime, Vorozhbit’s debut feature was Ukraine’s official submission to the 2022 Academy Awards.
Free and open to the public. Presented by the UNC Center for Slavic, Eurasian and East European Studies and the UNC Center for European Studies.
