Urdu Majlis

Please join the Carolina Asia Center on Saturday November 10 for the next monthly meeting of Urdu Majlis, the Triangle’s Urdu Literary Forum. This Urdu Majlis will concentrate on the life and works of poet Munir Niazi (1928-2006). A Sitara-e-Imtiaz Award recipient, he was an Urdu and Punjabi poet from Pakistan. Please arrive on time as a courtesy to others. Participants are invited to bring refreshments to share. This event is free and open to the public.
