The topics for these papers ranged from crises that have touched us all including the coronavirus pandemic, devastating impacts of climate change, and the presence of racist violence. Yet, it is essential to understand better how religious communities have been shaped by crisis, and also how they have responded to crisis. While the general theme of this inaugural meeting is mostly open, the proposals mostly address how religion and religious practices have been shaped through crisis.
