Virtual: Film Discussion: ‘In the Claws of a Century Wanting’

Join the Carolina Asia Center on April 15 at 9:00 p.m. for a film discussion on the film In the Claws of a Century Wanting, which examines urban housing in Manila, Philippines. Digital access to stream the film in advance will be made available to registered attendees through UNC’s library.

The panel will include documentarian, Jewel Maranan, who made this film; Joseph Palis, professor at the University of the Philippines – Diliman; and Chester Arcilla, professor at the University of the Philippines – Manila.
