Virtual: ‘La Conferencia: Nuestra Era’

The Carolina Latinx Center will present the inaugural “La Conferencia” on March 19 at 6:00 p.m., which aims to provide a space for Latinx students, staff, faculty, and their allies to network and create a discourse about access, social development, education, positive communication, and cross-cultural understanding in a Latinx-centered setting in the Triangle area.

The purpose is to develop this into space for people to convene annually to have critical dialogue, and exchange of information in order to empower the next generation of Latinx thinkers.

The two-day program will feature a shorter program on Day 1 (March 19), consisting of opportunities to network with other conference participants and engage in social programming; and a lengthier Day 2 (March 20), comprised of knowledge-sharing and building with four blocks of sessions and a keynote speaker.
