Virtual: ‘Teaching El Salvador Through Poetry’

Salvadorans are the second-largest Latin American group in the U.S., and immigration from Central America is at the forefront of today’s news cycle. On April 1 at 7:00 p.m., K-12 teachers can tune in to learn how to incorporate El Salvador into the classroom using poetry. Featured poets include Javier Zamora, Claribel Alegría, Jorge Argueta, and more. Continuing Education Unit credits are available!
