Virtual: ‘UNC Linguistics Spring Colloquium 2021’

March 20, 2021

Every spring, the Linguistics Graduate Student Association at UNC-Chapel Hill puts on its annual Spring Colloquium. This event invites fellow linguists from all over to present and discuss current topics of interest in the field in an all-day conference.

The conference will be held Saturday, March 20 via Zoom with Natalie Schilling, a professor of linguistics at Georgetown University, and Kate Lindsey, an assistant professor of linguistics at Boston University, as keynote speakers. Papers and posters on any topic in all areas of linguistics are possibilities for discussion. Paper presentations will be 20 minutes long (in English) followed by a 10-minute discussion period. Posters will be featured during a coffee hour. The Colloquium is free for all who present or attend. Register for the event here.
