Virtual: ‘US-Asia Relations Under the Biden Administration’

March 22, 2021 at 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM

With each new presidential administration, America’s policy position on Asia shifts even while many of the challenges remain. Join the Carolina Asia Center and UNC Public Policy on March 22 at 8:00 p.m. for a panel discussion on this shift. This panel will discuss the prospects for U.S. relations with two key parts of Asia under the new Biden administration.

Our external experts will be Kyle Ferrier, Fellow and Director of Academic Affairs at the Korean Economic Institute in America, speaking on U.S.-Korea relations, and Evan A. Laksmana, senior researcher with the Centre for Strategic and International Studies of Jakarta, Indonesia, speaking on U.S.-Southeast Asia relations. Professor Patricia L. Sullivan of UNC Public Policy will join as a moderator and to provide a broad comparative view. Register for this event.
