2018-2019 Carolina Global Photography Competition

The 19th annual Carolina Global Photography Competition is now accepting submissions. This amateur competition, which is open to students, faculty, alumni and staff of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, showcases Carolina‚Äôs global activity, educational opportunities, research and service work. The competition closes September 15, 2018. Each photographer may submit up to three photos. Reminders of Home: Persian Art Connecting Homeland and Diaspora features select Persian artwork and artifacts that provide a glimpse into a culture that has cultivated an extensive legacy of art over the past 5,000 years.
