This semester, "MEJO 584: International Projects" students traveled to San Cristóbal island in the Galápagos over spring break. The group of student reporters, photographers, videographers, web developers, designers and marketers worked on a multimedia storytelling project that covers many facets of the unique struggles, triumphs and culture of the ever-evolving islands. Elena Trubina is a professor of social theory and philosophy at the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg, Russia, where she also directs the Center for Global Urbanism.
