Fall 2020 Courses – Asynchronous and Blended

Important Update

All UNC-Chapel Hill undergraduate in-person courses are moving to remote instruction effective Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

Courses in graduate, professional and health affairs schools will continue to be taught as they are, or as directed by the schools. Academic advising and academic support services are available online. For more information, see the Carolina Together website.

Posted Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

Some Carolina students will be living away from campus during the Fall 2020 semester and may be in a different time zone. Carolina is offering a variety of instruction methods to accommodate the diverse needs of our students.

While some remote courses are still taught at a scheduled time in Chapel Hill with synchronous class participation, some students may benefit from fully asynchronous courses. Asynchronous courses range from introductory to higher-level.

We hope this list of courses that will be taught asynchronously will help our Tar Heels participating in remote instruction to fulfill their learning goals while also accommodating schedule differences.

Please check with the course instructor if you need additional information.
