Meredith Bryson joined UNC Global Affairs as program manager for global partnerships and international travel in 2024. She supports the University’s global partnerships by helping arrange visits for international delegations, tracking partnership activity and managing faculty awards for partnership activity. Additionally, Meredith works closely with the vice provost for global affairs to facilitate the international travel approval process for faculty, staff and graduate students at Carolina.

Previously, Meredith was a study abroad advisor in the UNC Study Abroad Office, where she advised students interested in studying in Africa, the Middle East and much of Europe. She has also worked in education technology, supporting projects in public school systems throughout North Carolina, and served as an international student recruiter, student advisor and dorm parent at King’s Academy in Madaba, Jordan.

As an undergraduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill, Meredith won a prize at the Study Abroad Fair — a Eurail pass — which led to her traveling solo throughout Europe for three weeks. This inspired her to spend a semester at Instituto Lorenzo de’ Medici in Florence, Italy, where she studied Italian opera, art history and politics. She remains passionate about international education, as well as traveling, spending time with friends and supporting local bookstores. She volunteers at a local dog rescue and sings soprano in the Duke Chapel Choir. Meredith lives in Durham.
