Sunil Kumar, PhD, postdoctoral associate at UNC Lineberger
The Royal Society of Biology, a professional society representing members of the biological sciences in the United Kingdom, has elected Sunil Kumar, PhD. postdoctoral associate at UNC Lineberger, as a member.
The society awarded Kumar the status of “chartered biologist” and “chartered scientist.” The honors recognize scientists who work at the highest level in biology.
Kumar was also named an active member in the American Association for Cancer Research, the largest cancer research organization with more than 44,000 members in more than 120 countries.
He was also confirmed as a member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Honor Society, an international honor society of science and engineering.
