School of Nursing Strong Contributor to International Family Nursing Conference

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing was well-represented at the 13th Annual International Family Nursing Conference held in Pamplona, Spain last week, headlining nearly a dozen lectures, presentations and posters. Participants included faculty members Nancy Havill, Louise Fleming, Marcia Van Riper, George Knafl and Kathy Knafl, and doctoral students Anna Lee, Carrie Hill, Ashley Vaughn and Haley Estrem.

This year’s conference focused on “Improving the Art and Science of Family Nursing: Transforming Health for Families” and attracted nearly 400 attendees from 26 different countries. UNC’s considerable contributions to the global discussion were as follows:
