UNC Global Participates in University-Wide GiveUNC Day on April 9

On April 9, 2019, UNC Global will participate in GiveUNC, a campus-wide fundraising effort across the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. All funds raised for UNC Global during GiveUNC will go to the Chancellor’s Global Education Fund, a University-wide fund supporting global opportunities, such as College of Arts and Sciences study abroad scholarships, graduate student research, programs on campus and more.
An anonymous donor has offered to match gifts up to $10,000 made to UNCGlobal during GiveUNC to double the impact of donations.
Activities supported by the Chancellor’s Global Education Fund are central to UNC-Chapel Hill’s global mission and strategic plan. The University’s Global Guarantee aims to ensure that all Carolina students, including those who have never traveled abroad before, are able to receive a comprehensive global education and become engaged global citizens.
