Emmy Grace

Emmy Grace (she/her) is the program manager for global education and supports Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) opportunities, the Diplomacy Initiative and Fulbright programs for students. Her background is in environmental and nonprofit work with international program experience. Before joining UNC-Chapel Hill, Grace worked on economic development opportunities with coffee communities in Guatemala. There she facilitated service learning trips and community tourism activities. She earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and Hispanic studies from Illinois Wesleyan University, including studying in Quito, Ecuador. After being involved in the environmental field, Grace pursued her master’s in international affairs, natural resources, and sustainable development from American University and the UN Mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica.
