Germany in Global Politics: From the Cold War to 30 Years after the Fall of the Berlin Wall

Krasno Global Affairs and Business Council kicks off the first event of their Fall 2019 season on Thursday, September 12. “Germany in Global Politics: From the Cold War to 30 Years after the Fall of the Berlin Wall” deals with Germany’s increasing role in international affairs. Eminent Harvard scholar Joshua Rubenstein talks about “Stalin and the German Question: From Failure to Tragedy,” and prominent professor and scholar Hope M. Harrison of George Washington University looks at “Memory and the Making of the New Germany, 1989 to the Present.”

This event will be introduced and moderated by Klaus Larres, Richard M. Krasno Distinguished Professor of History and adjunct professor of the Curriculum in Peace, War and Defense. For more information about the Krasno Event Series, visit their website.
