An Evening with Jane Ferguson, Foreign Correspondent for PBS NewsHour

The National Humanities Center is pleased to present an evening with award-winning journalist Jane Ferguson reflecting on her career and sharing insights from her memoir, No Ordinary Assignment.

A highly regarded foreign correspondent for PBS NewsHour, contributor to The New Yorker, and McGraw Professor of Journalism at Princeton University, Ferguson spent over a decade living and reporting in the Middle East and reporting from the Arab world, Africa, and South Asia. Her work, which has focused on US foreign policy and defense, conflict, diplomacy, and human rights, is characterized by exclusive ground-breaking access, thoughtful storytelling, and character-driven reporting.

This event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. A free signed copy of No Ordinary Assignment will be provided to the first 100 people who register and attend this event.

This event is presented in conjunction with the Hussman School of Journalism and Media and UNC Global Affairs.
