Global Health continues to be of particular importance today because health problems have significant political and economic impacts and can transcend national borders. The circumstances around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been fast evolving, forcing community colleges and other institutions of higher learning to re-imagine their teaching and learning. This UNC World View virtual community college program will explore topics and teaching strategies that can address the evolving nature of global health. Educators will learn about global health resources and build a network of colleagues who are passionate about global health. This program is designed for community college educators of all disciplines and will be of particular significance for those in the health sciences. PDCH offered. Register today.
