The AAC will be hosting an open house at their new space on Friday, August 27 from 1-5pm. The Philippines Since 1946

Mark Sanchez, Research Associate in the Office of the Chancellor of Vanderbilt University, will speak on the history of the Philippines, 1946-1972, with a focus on the role of the U.S. in the Philippines even beyond independence.   This event recognizes the 75th anniversary of Filipino independence from the United States, 1946-2021.   The event will be held over Zoom.
